"A Gun Too Far"
Oil, 16x20"
Price on request

It was in pre World War I, British East Africa, that a hunter was living his worst nightmare.

The African night was fast approaching ,and the hunter had finished his supper; the fire was almost gone, and he was about to clean his gun.

It was then that a large black mane male lion sauntered out of the scrub behind his camp. Trapped in his tent, unable to reach his rifle, he considered his dilemma.

What happened next makes for compelling reading and can be found in Volume II of Seerey-Lester’s book Legends of the Hunt – Campfire Tales, due for publication in 2012.
