Once again we will be teaching at our FAVORITE location for a Wilderness Workshop – Triple “D” in the shadows of Glacier National Park! This will be so special because you will have the fall colors as a backdrop to these unique animals.

This is the only class where you will be able to photograph and sketch amazing wildlife in a natural environment, from just a few feet away. Each morning you will go into the field and have 2- 3 species – your choice of wolves, mountain lion, Amur leopard, Siberian tiger, fox, bobcat, bear, otter, lynx just to name a few.

• You will watch John as he demonstrates his various techniques using oil and acrylic, each day.
• All you need is a sketchbook.
• John will cover such things as composition, use of light, values, perspective, as well as painting animals, fur, grass snow, water, just to name a few things.
• You will be enthralled with what Suzie has to say about the business aspects of art, from photographing your paintings to consignment agreements and copyright law.
• Bring three images of your paintings, or the actual paintings for critique. They can be new paintings you are having trouble with; older paintings you feel need improvement, or pieces you are proud of.
• This is a great learning experience for everyone. It is a fun class with lots of surprises.
