Early in the morning when the light is low, the deep rich colors of dawn catch movement at the edge of the primeval swamp near Lake Lester. Their coats somehow familiar, the congregation is on the move for their morning meal. Terror and the desire to flee is physically powerful when you spot them. Leading the congregation is the Leopabis, (panthera Albus) its camouflaged rosettes blending in with its surroundings. The Chetabis, (acinonyx jubatus Albus) having just captured its breakfast, a minnow, ripping it to shreds, water dripping from its bill, makes a smooth reflection in the murky water. What is that? Oh No, not the Tigabis! (panthera tigres Albus) The most dangerous and deadly of the Catabis brings up the rear. Stay out of their way; they are unpredictable, treacherous and lethal. So extraordinary they are almost never seen, so deadly no one survives to tell the tail of the fatal congregation of Catabis.
