painting Seerey-Lester has taken us back to the glorious days of the old Useppa Inn when it stood in all it’s splendor at the north east end of the Island. It’s the end of the day and the tarpon fishing boats are returning to the dock. The artist imagines a couple, the lady dressed more for sightseeing than fishing, disembarking from the last boat in. A tarpon hangs in the background. |
